We'll be the best combo in town, says Yuvan

Yuvan Shankar Raja has his hands full with several exciting projects. He is now busy with two films – one is the Telugu movie Shadow which is directed by Vishnuvardhan and stars Pawan Kalyan and the other is the final song for the Ajith starrer Mankatha.

With Mankatha almost complete, Yuvan is ready to move over to Billa 2, which is to be directed by Chakri Toleti. The musician has said that he is confident that he and Chakri will be the next successful combination in the tinsel town and Billa 2 is going to prove it. Yuvan reiterated that he will give his best no matter who he is working with.

Mankatha music on July End

According to latest reports, Yuvan Shankar Raja's much anticipated tracks of Ajith starrer 50th film Mankatha are likely to be released by the end of July. Known to all that the director Venkat Prabhu has already released a single track 'Vilayaadu Mankatha' of late. The audio rights of Mankatha are bagged by Sony BMG for a record break price. Trisha, Arjun, Andrea, Lakshmi Rai, Vaibhav, Premji, Mahanth and Ashwin are in other key roles of the movie. As known to all its been confirmed by the director that the film will hit screens in August.

If sources are to be trusted its heard that the film Mankatha has got total nine songs.  Out of these 9 songs, three tracks will be used for promotional activities, sources confirm. Dhayanidhi Alagiri has produced the movie under the banner Cloud Nine Movies. Stay in tune for updates on date confirmation of audio release.

Mankatha has been completed! The entire unit flew to Bangkok to shoot the last song and it is all done and they are back in Chennai. Director Venkat Prabhu is relieved. He apologized to the fans for the delay and said that it was a mammoth task to coordinate the dates of the ensemble cast that included Ajith, Arjun, Trisha, Lakshmi Rai, Andrea, Premji, and Vaibhav.

Yuvan Shankar Raja is working like a fiend to complete the songs since the director has promised the audio launch will be held this month so that the film can have an August release. Dubbing, editing, and other post production work is going on at full swing. Producer Dhayanidhi Alagiri said he is proud of Mankatha and everything from the music to the performances is exceptionally good.

Venkat Prabhu’s next is Neradi Olibarappu

 

While anticipation is skyrocketing on how Venkat Prabhu would have handled a big budget project, Mankatha, with one of the top heroes in Kollywood Ajith playing the lead role, here comes the news that his next has been tentatively titled Neradi Olibarappu.

As like his earlier films, Chennai 28, Saroja and Goa, this new film will also be of the comedy genre. The star cast has not been finalized yet but sources report that it is a small budget film.

Mankatha is in the final stages of post production and soon after its release in August; an official announcement pertaining to Neradi Olibarappu can be expected. Let’s wait for more details on Neradi Olibarappu.

Here is news to all the music buffs who are eagerly waiting to know about the songs in Mankatha! There are nine songs in the film out of which three songs will be used for promotional purposes, we are told.

Mankatha’s music director Yuvan Shankar Raja is working round-the-clock to complete the audio soon so that an official date for its release can be announced. Mankatha is Ajith’s 50th film and also stars Arjun, Trisha, Lakshmi Rai, Anjali, Premji Amaran and others.

Ultimate star Ajith is all ready for his next project Billa-2. Its all about how he become an international don.

Ajith is getting ready for the prequel of Billa, the star have lost so much of weight to have a young look. what is the similarity between Avatar 2 and Billa 2 both are using the same advance Epic camera.

Cinematography for Billa is going to be handled by R.D.Rajasekar which have done so many hit movies like Kaakha kaakha, Ghajini and many more.

The newest addition to the cast of Billa 2 is Vimala Raman. Huma Qureshi, a mumbai - based super model has already been signed up as the heroine. Vimala Raman will be another female lead and word is that her role is a good one. This actress was last seen in Raman Thediya Seethai and after that devoted her time to Malayalam and Telugu films.

This is her big comeback in Tamil and she is thankful that she has got a part opposite a huge star like Ajith. Vimala Raman is keeping her fingers crossed because after this she will surely recieve many more offers.

Velayutham before Mankatha?

The date for Mankatha’s audio launch happens to be July 18th. This has created a huge expectation among Vijay fans who are waiting for Velayutham audio release. There is a strong anticipation that the audio of Velayutham will make it to the markets even before Mankatha, the Ajith starrer.

If sources in Kollywood are to be believed, the master CD copy of Velayutham audio is almost ready and is in the final stage of processing. The buzz therefore is that the Velayutham audio may be released before July 18th.

More light on 'Billa 2'

 

Ajith fans all over the state and some across the globe are eagerly awaiting the release of his much-awaited don story 'Mankatha' directed by Venkat Prabhu, which will have Ajith sporting the salt and pepper a la George Clooney look.

Now with 'Mankatha' soon going to see that light of day our 'Thala' is neck deep in his next project which, as we had already informed you, is 'Billa-2'. Looks like the don stories have a way of finding Ajith, or is it the other way round? Whatever be the case he is one hero who looks handsome in any role he essays.

'Billa 2', as many would already be aware, will be more like a prequel which will throw light upon how a normal guy, David, from Thuthukudi grows to become a don feared by many. Another interesting aspect is that the director of this film, Chakri Toleti, will use an EPIC camera for filming. 'Billa 2' is now the first ever Indian cinema to be shot using an EPIC camera. It was the same breed of EPIC Camera that was used by James Cameron to film 'Avatar 2'. So now you know what is common between 'Avatar 2' and 'Billa 2'

Now the latest is that, the director, Chakri Toleti went on a trip to Hyderabad, where he had gone location hunting for this film. After which he returned to Chennai and started work immediately with Yuvan Shankar Raja, who is scoring the tunes for this flick.

This movie has more expectations among fans than usual thala flicks as we'll get to see a younger Ajith through this movie..
