New locations for Billa 2

 

Here's some news for fans of Ajith. While the unit of Billa 2 is busy shooting in Hyderabad for their first schedule, CT has discovered that other important locations include Goa, Puducherry and Chennai. We also hear that a portion of this film is likely to be shot in Russia whereas Billa was shot in Malaysia.

Suresh Balajee, who's presenting the film along with a top banner, confirms, "The film is currently being shot in a studio in Hyderabad. This schedule will go on for a few more weeks. Post this, we will move to Goa. The location plays an extremely important role in the film and major portions will be shot there. It's almost like Goa is the second lead in the film! We'll also be shooting in Puducherry and Chennai for a few days. Hunt is on to select abroad locales."

Dayanidhi Azhagiri’s strong promise

 

Producer Dayanidhi Azhagiri is on high praises for the entire team of ‘Mankatha’ for they have done a fabulous job. Starting from ‘Thala’ to the assistant technicians on the sets, it has been a tremendous work. Having sent the audio for the mastering, Dayanidhi Azhagiri makes a strong promise to the Thala fans that everything is gonna rock with the film.

‘Guys, it’s a promise and you’ll enjoy ‘Mankatha’ to the core’ says Dayanidhi Azhagiri, who is still to confirm the date of audio launch.

He has also denied rumours published in some portals pertaining to the film’s release issue with accordance to the political arena. ‘Not at all. Everything will go on as planned’ assures Dayanidhi Azhagiri, who confirms the film’s release by all means in August.

Anusha Dayanidhi sings for 'Mankatha'

The 'Mankatha' audio album, which will be launched soon, will mark the debut of a singer, and she is none other than Anusha, wife of producer Dayanidhi Alagiri. She has crooned for an interesting number in the film.

Anusha has rendered the song, composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, in the company of Karthik and Vijay Yesudas. "It has come out good and will be one of the highlights of the album," say sources in the know.

Says the director, Venkat Prabhu, "When we did a concert at the wedding reception of Dayanidhi, we made Anusha to sing. It was there we realized that she has a gifted voice and could make it as a big singer."

"So we decided to make her sing for Mankatha. She was initially apprehensive and but finally accepted our request. She came out with a stunning performance," he adds. 'Mankatha', the 50th film of Ajith, will see an August release.

'Mankatha'Track list and premium pack for thala fans

The audio launch of 'Mankatha' is much-awaited due to reasons many. The film marks thala Ajith's 50th film in Tamil cinema and the megaphone for this multi-starrer is wielded by Venkat Prabhu. The tunes for this crime action thriller are set by Yuvan Shankar Raja and the album consists of eight tracks, including a single track, 'Vilayudu Mankatha...' that got out this May and has attained the top slot in charts.

While the team is gearing up for an audio launch, IG briefs you on the tracks of 'Mankatha' and about the premium pack that's in store for thala fans.

 

'Vilayudu Mankatha...' that got out mid-May is crooned by Anitha, Premgi Amaren, Ranjith, Suchitra and Yuvan Shankar Raja. Yes, all that's quite known. But there's another track, 'Vilayudu Mankatha...' dance mix which is by Premgi Amaren in this film. 'Nee Naan...' that is crooned by Bhavadharani and SPB Charan, is an out-and-out melodious track. Whereas 'Vaa Da Bin Laada...' is sung by Krish and Suchitra and is a funky techno duet which is sure to set a rage among the young, it's a contemporary version of 'Sorgame Endralum�'

'Machi Open The Bottle...' is crooned by Haricharan, Mano, Naveen, Premgi and Tippu.

'Nanbane...' is by Madhushree and Yuvan Shankar Raja again and is yet another duet in the album.  'Balle Lakka...' crooned by Karthik, Vijay Yesudas and Anusha Dhayanidhi. This song introduces 'Mankatha' producer Dayanidhi Alagiri's wife, Anusha debuting as a singer! Apart from these, there's also 'Mankatha' theme music which is an instrumental.
